Lazy Tulip has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and for good reason. Over a few visits, we had the opportunity to explore several dishes on their menu, and each one left us impressed with its thoughtful preparation and vibrant flavors. The Falafel Wrap was an instant hit. The falafel was freshly made, perfectly spiced, and paired with crisp vegetables and a creamy, flavorful sauce that tied everything together. It was filling yet light, the perfect choice for a quick and satisfying breakfast or lunch. On another visit, we indulged in their Eggs Benedict, and it was clear why this is such a beloved item on their menu. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, the yolks spilling out like liquid gold, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and buttery without being overwhelming. Combined with fresh ingredients and a perfectly toasted English muffin, this dish was a breakfast masterpiece. For a lighter, cozy option, we tried one of their vegan soups, and it truly hit the spot. Bursting with rich, earthy flavors, the soup was both hearty and nourishing. Paired with their fresh, artisan bread, it was the ultimate comfort food, especially on a chilly day. Lastly, the salad with tarragon dressing was a refreshing highlight. The greens were crisp and fresh, and the tarragon dressing was simply outstanding. Its subtle herbaceous notes elevated the dish, proving that simplicity can be incredibly satisfying when done right. Lazy Tulip never fails to deliver a wholesome and delicious experience, no matter the time of day. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty wrap, a decadent brunch, or a light and refreshing soup or salad, they have something for everyone. Every visit feels like a new treat, and we can’t wait to go back for more!

I’ve come here a couple times and it’s quickly becoming my favourite Cafe in Barrie. I love the big windows and all of the natural lighting. The staff are super friendly. I usually get an iced oat latte with maple syrup which is tasty. Today I had their special and it definitely made my top 3 for eggs Benedict!

We were looking for a little brunch spot in Barrie. And the name alone made me want to go here! Lots of coffee options. The brunch was delicious. It looks like in warmer weather they had outdoor seating.

This has quickly become one of my fav breakfast places! The food is another level - the Huevos Tulip, cinnamon and raisin French toast pudding, the chickpea slider are all quality dishes and prepared with much care and love evidently. The ambience both inside and in the patio outside is lovely and the service from Tracy, our server, both times was exceptional. This truly is a special place!
